Barcelona World Race starts again ending December! Five teams have registered already, in teams of two.  Alex Thomson, second in the Barcelona World Race 2007/2008, has already said that he will stand at the starting line in 2010.  

This is the second time that the Barcelona World Race starts. Since the end of the second edition (March 2008), they worked on sponsorship. The two main sponsors are the Barcelona-brewery and soft drink company Estrella Damm.  

In the race of 2007/2008 Vincent Riou and Sebastien Josse won the Barcelona World Race. On the 11th of February of 2008 they came with a time of 92 days, 8 hours, 49 minutes and 49 seconds.
