Mobile World Congress Day 3 includes keynotes focused on financial services and mobile operating systems.

Afternoon sessions include a mobile advertising stream that will help define the mobile advertising ecosystem, and address opportunities to target emerging markets via mobile advertising strategies. Both workshops will address much-needed skills development in how to monetize apps, a theme that many apps developers have struggled with, as mentioned by industry business leader Julie Dimambro in our blog interview.

Other afternoon sessions include:

• An analysis of how network operators are leveraging increased consumption of mobile devices to drive revenue
• A showcase panel of mobile innovators sharing their case study experiences
• A media and entertainment session looking at how creative artists are delivering new content forms via mobile networks.

In addition, the Apps Planet showroom, exhibition halls and mPowered arena focused on mobile marketing will all hold events and have numerous displays and business networking opportunities throughout Mobile World Congress Day 3.
